The HR in AIS is one of the critical Senior Management Positions. Some of the core functions of HR are Recruitment and Selection, Training and Development, Performance Management, Compensation Management, Talent and Knowledge Management and Labor Relations.

Association International School has a rigorous recruitment system and this is because, AIS employs only people with the relevant proven skills/abilities with a measurable number of years of practical experience in their required fields.

It is very important to note that, the environment in AIS provides adequate support and opportunities, for even the unskilled graduate – employees who are recruited either as Assistant Teachers or Assistant Administrative Officers and later made to transition into higher positions of responsibility and authority, depending on their job performance.

AIS’s policy on continuous professional development has been one of the main reasons there are consistent workshops/training sessions on several thematic areas in Leadership and Management; to progressively equip Leaders and Administrators on best practices and emerging trends.

There are several employment opportunities in AIS and due to our internal recruitment policy, existing employees with the requisite qualifications, skill-sets and experience(s) are notified of such vacancies.

On the contrary, if the position requires a certain level of technical competence which is non-existent within the AIS staff corps, it will be opened to prospective applicants through external recruitment procedures.

The onus then lies on all category of employees in AIS to be very versatile and possess varied abilities/skills; thereby making it highly possible for an existing employee to handle both Instructional and/or Administrative responsibilities.
