Early Childhood Center

— Welcome Dear Parents

It is our greatest pleasure to welcome you to the Early Childhood division of Association International School. Located in a large purpose-built section, the Early Learning Program offers a structured and enjoyable start to school life in a warm, caring, and nurturing environment that supports and inspires all aspects of your child’s development. Early childhood begins at Pre-Kindergarten and ends at the Kindergarten level. All classes have two streams of each grade.

Our highly qualified teachers combine formal instruction with learning through play and exploration to equip children with necessary social, physical, and learning skills. They effectively interact with students and tailor lesson material to meet individual student needs.

We have integrated various co-curricular activities to ensure the students gain holistic education. These activities include but are not limited to karate, ballet, swimming, soccer, culinary arts, Lego building, spelling bee, French club, reading club, art, and beading.

Our students are endowed with individual strengths, capabilities, and are intellectually curious by nature. We aim to build the skills, knowledge, and positive attitudes necessary to help all our students become intelligent, compassionate learners, leaders, and ambassadors of Christ for the glory of God.

At AIS, we value our parents and the wider community. It is, therefore, imperative for us to maintain an open and welcoming environment where we can work together for the ultimate good of our students.

Best wishes,
Head of the Early Childhood Division

Early Childhood Education Philosophy

Because each child is created in God’s image for a unique purpose, each needs to be trained to have a Godly character. A child has physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual needs. Association International School seeks to provide each student the opportunity to pursue personal growth in all these areas, through a broad range of activities. In support of our Mission, Vision, and Values, the Association International School professional learning community holds the following educational beliefs:

  • Student learning is the focus of our organization, yet the faculty and staff will also be active learners in the community.
  • A safe, respectful, and supportive environment is essential for each individual to pursue personally challenging goals.
  • The curriculum and instructional strategies will inspire and motivate students to learn.
  • Students have individual talents and qualities that must be discovered and developed.
  • Students achieve their best when they build on previous knowledge and skills, and apply their learning to issues of personal and global significance.
  • Continual goal-setting and reflection is essential to achieve personal and community growth.
  • Appreciation of cultural diversity is essential to promoting international understanding and responsible citizenship.
  • The education of each student is a responsibility shared by students, parents, and teachers.
  • Parents/guardians have invested in us this sacred trust.
  • Total development of the child includes growth in a sound Christian environment, established on a sound, ethical, and Biblical foundation; exemplified by strong leadership and mentorship in the faith.
